About Gladius International

Gladius provides comprehensive instruction on subjects that directly apply to real-world situations and the threats they present. Overcoming today’s urban environment can be a tricky process, come in and learn from our experienced training cadre, which represents prior law enforcement, military and SOF veterans, and private defense contractors.

The company was founded in early 2020 by Michael Woodruff Bird Jr, a seasoned entrepreneur whose personal experience in his childhood, and educational background, laid the foundation for his passion in providing the proper protection and training services to his organization and clientele. Michael’s vision for the company is clear: to empower and protect his clients and community for a safer tomorrow.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

We understand that things happen in life, and you may not be able to make your scheduled training.  Students unable to attend their assigned class, may be eligible for deposit credit on a future training class.  We encourage you to notify us as soon as possible as our venue holds a limited number of spots and sells out quickly. This way we can offer your spot to another student.  We require that our students notify us of attendance changes at least 72 hours prior to their training via (phone, email, or text message).

• To be eligible for a Deposit Refund requires a (5) day advance notice by email or phone call of any cancellation, as our classes are small and usually have a wait list.
• Student cancelations via email contact with more than 72 hours’ notice prior to training = Full deposit credit for good for future training.
• Student cancelations less than 24 hours’ notice prior to training or is a no show for class = No deposit credit will be issued; no refunds will be made.

If a class is postponed by Gladius International, students will receive a full refund or the ability to receive credit to reschedule and attend another class, this is at the student’s discretion.  Any credit applied to future training is valid for 90 days from the date of the original scheduled class.

Emergency Situation

In the event of a last-minute emergency (such as you have been involved in an accident on the way to class or called into work etc.), please contact us as soon as possible, so we can make the necessary changes for the class.  We train whether rain or shine, hot or cold, so bad weather is not a valid emergency, unless for extreme weather (i.e., lightning storm/ hurricane). 

Reschedule Policy

Gladius International

Gladius International may have to reschedule a class or training due to facilities scheduling, extreme weather, or other reasons. We will credit each student’s account or reschedule their class to the next available session, at the student’s discretion.

Gladius International reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet the minimum number of students requirement. In that event, Gladius will credit each student’s account or reschedule their class to the next available session, at the student’s discretion.

Refund Policy

Other Policy

Gladius International operates on a private range and provides a safe training enviroment for all our students. Anyone not adhereing to Gladius International's safety policies and procedures, or deemed unsafe while handeling their firearm, will be immediately removed from training and asked to leave. No refunds will be offered for students removed from training due to safety violition's or deemed unsafe.

Gladius International reserves the right to refuse training to anyone displaying signs of impairment.

Gladius International reserves the right to refuse training to anyone who has been previously removed from a training course for violating Gladius International's safety policies and procedures or previously deemed unsafe.
