Description
When a dynamic critical incident occurs, movement is key. Whether it’s moving to a position,
getting to a safe area, or closing in on a threat, movement plays a vital role. Though movement plays such a vital role, it’s often the most neglected skill a shooter practices, if at all.
The Shooting and Moving course goes beyond static shooting, by incorporating a fast-paced,
task-focused curriculum delivered through platform instruction and skill building drills.
Concentrating on developing the skills and concepts necessary to shoot while moving, students will focus on movement from various angles, positions, and distances.
Because of the tempo of this class, students will need to have a basic shooting knowledge,
including presentation from the holster, reloading, from slide lock and safe firearm’s handling
skills.
