About Top Shot Maryland, LLC

I grew up in the Bronx, New York.  I received my Ph.D while working on HIV-1 Reverse Transcriptase and Integrase Proteins.  Upon completion I began working for the Department of Defense where I worked as an intelligence officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency.  I also worked at the Pentagon, I worked as a Defense Contractor, and I have worked closely supporting military commands around the world.  I represented the United States multiple times in intelligence exchanges with US allies.  I headed a WMD Intelligence Team in support of certain military commands whose work was briefed at the White House and recognized by the Director of the CIA.  The team received a National Meritorious Unit Citation. 

I currently work as an adjunct full professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, and I have been teaching adults for over 20 years.  I grew up shooting with my father and stepfather.  

I believe when seconds count the police are minutes away.  For that reason we need to protect ourselves.  I believe everyone has a right to own a firearm and the right to protect themselves and their loved ones.  I teach the following classes:

Handgun Qualification License (HQL)
NRA Basic Pistol
NRA Basic Rifle
NRA Basic Shotgun
NRA Range Safety Officer

I am a Maryland Qualified Handgun Instructor (QHIC) in multiple disciplines.  I hold the following NRA certifications:
