You do not need to have any experience shooting a shotgun. Everything will be taught to you. Students will learn the NRA rules for safe gun handling, parts of a shotgun, different types of shotguns, operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, and how to clean a shotgun. You will learn about every shotgun action in current use. Pump, Semi-Automatic, Bolt, and Break actions will be readily available for you to use.
This class includes a live-fire exercise at the most beautiful Trap location in Maryland! Bring your shotgun and ammunition (50 shells, shot size 7.5 or 8, no slugs). Please leave your ammunition in your car until instructed otherwise. Class will start at 9:00AM.
