Description
YOUTH FIREARM SAFETY Ages (5-7)
Firearms can be a great hobby and tool to have, but using them safely is of the utmost importance – especially when it comes to our youth.
XTD's Youth Firearm Safety Course is an introduction to safe firearms handling that outlines what to do when a child finds a firearm or their friend is playing with one, how to safely resolve situations involving firearms, and finally how to operate and safely shoot a handgun. (NO LIVE FIRE)
While this class does involve dry fire practice, it is more focused on safety, education, awareness, prevention and situational awareness with firearms than it is a shooting course.
*A parent or a guardian must accompany all minors during the entire class.
Children are naturally curious, and if left alone in the home, they may want to learn more about the pistol or rifle on their own. As a parent and a gun owner, it’s up to you to make sure your children understand the importance of treating a gun with respect.
