Description
DESCRIPTION:
The "Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals Course," is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The class is approximately 7 hours long, with a 1-hour range opportunity. In this seminar you will learn conflict avoidance, situational awareness; handgun, shotgun & AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters, legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on ongoing training.
BRING TO CLASS:
Each student will need to bring one firearm, at least 100 rounds of proper ammunition (BRASS AMMMO ONLY allowed in the range) for that firearm, and eye and ear protection. If you have prescription glasses, you may wear these in lieu of safety glasses. Your firearm and ammunition will be inspected prior to range qualifications.
A minimum of a .22 caliber handgun or larger is required.
ATTIRE:
Closed-toed shoes (no sandals), shirts with long sleeves and collar close to neck (no low-cut shirts), pants or long shorts, and baseball cap.
