Description
Defensive Handgun II is the second of seven modules designed to develop confident, effective and safe armed citizens who can defend themselves and their families with stationary handgun defensive skills. These are advanced classes requiring excellent safety habits and moderate shooting skills. Students are expected to not catch magazines, automatically reload, assess their surroundings and behave as if they were defending themselves and/or their loved ones. This is not an administrative “How to shoot” class. It is a “How to fight and win” class.
DH II builds on DH I skills. Additional skills addressed:

Expectations and Outcomes
This class builds on our previous Defensive Handgun I (Gunfighting Fundamentals). Defensive Handgun II is the first half of Stationary Defensive Handgun Skills. At the end of Part 1, the student learns different sighting techniques, how to speeed up the shooting cycle while getting hits, engaging multiple or moving assailants and flashlight techniques. The student repeats portions of the class using both hands.

Documentation Requirements
This is not a beginner class. Students must have excellent safety habits, be able to hit a sheet of paper consistently at 5 yards and know how to operate a handgun.
Training accepted - DH I, Advanced Course Completion or Personal Assessment.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Eye/Ear pro is provided. This series is best taken with your personal defensive handgun, requires 100 rounds and at least two magazines (four recommended). You should also have a spare magazine pouch (loaners available). You will need a good defensive flashlight (loaners available).
Electronic hearing protection is highly recommended. Gun rental and ammunition available on request for a small fee. Email InstructorWR@W2TF.us for details and loan needs before the session.
Student responsible for the $20 range fee.
