Course Description:
Join us for our Level 1 Rifle Course, designed for:
New shooters
First-time rifle owners
Anyone seeking a refresher in the fundamentals of rifle handling and marksmanship
We’ll guide you through:
Course Topics:
Safe handling and storage procedures
Rifle nomenclature, assembly, and disassembly
Rifle setup and accessories
Marksmanship fundamentals (sight picture, grip, stance, sling usage)
Zeroing procedures for iron sights and optics
Shooting positions (standing, kneeling, seated, and prone)
Malfunction drills and problem-solving
Basic to advanced reload techniques
Target acquisition and engagement skills
Our instructors, with decades of combined operational experience in military and federal law enforcement, are passionate about teaching new shooters the right way, the first time. By the end of this course, you'll be qualified to participate in any of our advanced rifle-related courses.
Student Requirements:
AR-style rifle with sling (adjustable preferred, not mandatory)
Range belt with one or more AR magazine pouches
4 AR magazines
300 rounds of ammunition
(Optional) Shooting mat – we will shoot from the prone position
