Obtaining a MS Enhanced Firearm Permit is a great way to upgrade your ability to carry a defensive weapon in Mississippi and beyond, since it is recognized by 37 other states. This course will guide you through the basics of handling firearms safely, how to safely store your firearms, examples on how to carry them for protection, learning the laws that apply, what to do if you have an encounter with law enforcement, and the application process for getting your permit.

Expectations and Outcomes

Students will now possess the knowledge to handle and store firearms safely, as well as how to carry in public and know the laws pertaining to such. A state certification will be given to use to obtain the Enhanced Firearm Permit.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

Requirements

Bring something to write down notes with/on.
Bring beverages if you need them. 
Bring snacks if you need them. 
We will take a lunch break where you can go grab something or you can bring something with you. 
You will need a firearm to qualify with. If you don't have one you can rent one from the range but you will need to purchase ammo from them as well. You will need 50 rounds per person.
Wear a shirt with a collar that will not allow brass to fall into your shirt. 
Bring a baseball cap or similar hat with a brim. 
Eye and ear protection are required. If you don't have any you can rent them from the range. 
Targets will be provided.
