Description
The Precision Rifle Course is designed to set the foundation of skills for the novice rifleman utilizing a scoped bolt action or semi-automatic rifle. The course will consist of approximately 2 hours of classroom instruction on firearm safety, rifle set up, zeroing, ballistics, and fundamentals as applied to the precision rifle. Classroom instruction is followed by 6 hours of live fire range drills beginning with zeroing and accuracy drills. These drills will be followed by introduction to alternate firing positions using supported and unsupported techniques. Upon completion these exercises students will gather data on known distance targets out to 600 yards. Culminating the course will be timed known distance engagements using techniques learned through the day.

Requirements
Individual equipment (Student Furnished):
- Rifle with Scope and bipods (Capable of 2 MOA or better) • Caliber .223 Rem to .300 Win Mag
- 200 rounds of match ammunition (Not Hunting Ammo)
- 2x serviceable magazines (if applicable)
- Knee and elbow pads (optional)
- Weapon cleaning kit (appropriate for individual weapon)
- Support Bag (a.k.a. sand sock)
- Note taking material with extra pens
