Description
earn to Draw is The Complete Combatant's 3 hour class focusing on presenting your firearm from the holster while always practicing your FUNDAMENTALS as they are the key to everything!
- 3 Hour Clinic
- $89 per person
This class is taught by Shelley Hill or Harriett Williams and can be your "next step" in training after you have taken an Entry Level Pistol Essentials class, basics class from another instructor, new shooter class, safety class with live fire, and the like.
YES! If you would like some experience drawing from your OFF BODY bag, we can make that happen. Please bring your bag and at the end of each Learn to Draw class, we will invite you to stay for another 15-30 minutes. This will be just enough time to get your "feet wet" regarding off body techniques. I promise you, it is not as easy as it looks so after your mini intro lesson, feel free to schedule a private lesson with your coach.
The most important part for the armed citizen is to quickly access their weapon and make accurate shots.
- Concealment is the essential advantage that the armed citizen has in personal protection. Clearing your cover garment if applicable
- Learn, or revisit, the four positions of the draw, how to safely draw, and how to holster your firearm.
- Different holster positions
- Getting a good firing grip
- Open discussion on some of the popular holsters and their PROS & CONS
- Using proper body mechanics to align the pistol for quick sight alignment
- Dry practice
- Live practice
- Safe gun handling
- Holstering safely

This consult will include up to $250 GIFT CERTIFICATE. This GC will be "spent" according to your gear "needs" after your consultation. Thank you Dark Star Gear!

- Holster: Appendix? Any loose shirt that fully conceals your firearm can be used as a cover garment
- Holster: Hip or strong side? Loose button down shirt OVER a tucked in t-shirt can be used as a cover garment
