Description
This course is the start of your defensive journey with a handgun. If you do not own one or have one and need to learn more about it, this course is for you. We will start with safety and what it is all about owning one. You will learn how to select the handgun for you, without all the opinions of others. You will learn what is best for you. You will learn how to grip, trigger control, body alignment, using sights, and pressing the trigger. We will use a indoor virtual range first, so you can learn without all the distractions. Then proceed to the range about 10 minutes away and you will demonstrate shooting your handgun, one on one with the instructor so you can gain confidence and get the attention you need to learn, and feel good about it.

Student completing this course will recieve a USCCA Certificate. You will come away from this course confident and more knowledgable than majority of gun owners who have little or no training. You will be ready to take the next step in you defensive journey.

Older than 12 years old (12 to 18 must have parent approval) Contact us first before registration)
Handgun - if you do not have one, we will have several for you to select.
Ammo - 50 rounds (of course if you shoot less than 50, that is ok)
Snacks or lunch (water will be provided)
