Description
It’s always smart to have a thorough understanding of fundamental skills and principles before you move on to more complex concepts. That is why our experienced instructors take their time to break down each lesson; we want every student to feel safe and comfortable before moving on to the next step. This class is perfect for new and experienced shooters who enjoy shooting, but want to start taking their defensive shooting skills to the next level.

Topics Covered
Topics covered include: firearm safety, proper grip & stance, target focused shooting, threat recognition, combat accuracy & volume of fire, the balance of speed and accuracy (BSA), drawing from the holster, emergency reloads, and much more. This course includes no classroom time, as the entirety of the class will be spent on the range watching demonstrations and then running the drills yourself. This course will greatly improve your confidence and ability to defend yourself with a handgun.

Requirements
1. Semi-automatic Pistol or Revolver
2. 3 magazines (minimum)
3. Paddle or Belt Holster (Kydex or Leather)
4. Magazine Pouches(Single or Double)
5. Gun Belt (A heavy duty belt designed to carry the weight of your weapon and magazines)
6. Required Ammunition: 250 - 300 rounds (Brass, FMJ)
7. Ear protection – Free Rental Available
8. Eye protection – Free Rental Available
9. Baseball Cap or Hat (Recommended)
10. Hiking Boots or Athletic Shoes (NO OPEN TOED SHOES OR SANDALS)
11. Long Sleeve Shirt (Recommended) (NO LOW CUT SHIRTS OR TOPS)
12. Medication: If your medication causes drowsiness or other negative side effects, DO NOT
