About STI Training, LLC
Security Through Instruction (STI) Training believes that the safest individual is the trained individual. STI Training specializes in helping new shooters in the DFW area gain confidence in firearms handling and firing, as well as helping experienced shooters hone their skills. Courses range from Texas LTC, to NRA, to original or hybrid curriculums that will meet your needs whether you're just a visitor who's looking to give firearms a try or if you'd like to become fully comfortable around firearms.
STI Training also provides consulting services for firearm or accessory purchases, as well as training in how to safely store and stage firearms in a kid-friendly environment.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
We understand life is hectic and plans change. We are happy to provide full refunds up to 72 hours before class start. Within 72 hours, there will be a 25% service fee deducted from the refund to cover class-specific charges. In the event of an unavoidable emergency, a full refund will be provided at our discretion.
Reschedule Policy
In addition to the Cancellation Policy, reschedules may be submitted free of charge up to 24 hours prior to class start. Within 24 hours, a service fee equal to 10% of the course fee will apply, with the exception of unavoidable emergencies.
Other Policy
COVID POLICY:
In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing are optional during classes. Masks will be provided to any student who requests one, and requests for social distancing will be granted. Students understand that social distancing is not practical on the range.
PERSONAL FIREARMS POLICY:
Personal firearms or ammunition are NOT permitted in the classroom unless cased, carried concealed, or otherwise stored in accordance with law. Any required materials, training aids, etc. will be provided by STI Training.
Personal firearms are welcome on the range, however the student certified that, to the best of their knowledge, the firearms is in good working order, and understands any issues that arise with a personal firearm may not be able to be addressed by staff. Additionally, only 9mm or .22 ammunition will be provided. Other calibers will need to be provided by the student, if necessary.
