Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey. This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident. Also includes required topics like suicide awareness, affects of alcohol, NYS use of force laws, and more. Range qualification is easy and convenient. 2 Hours will be set a side as range time using UTM Simulated Ammunition. This includes using a real pistol firing UTM Simulated Ammunition. UTM is widely used by countless police agencies, and our own military. The gun is real, but using simulated ammunition the gun will load, operate, fire, and cycle as if it fired a live round. It fires a small projectile at safe speeds (slower than most bb guns.) This lawfully satisfies the legal qualification requirements in a safe, and convenient manner.
