Description
This is a one-day course for those interested in acquiring a handgun, or have one and are looking for training in its use. Handgun selection, safe use, applications, storage, etc. For those who have not yet acquired a handgun, we have a variety available to determine which one(s) seem best suited for them.
This is a NRA certified course.

- Mechanics.
- Safe use.
- Shooting fundamentals.
- Ammunition.
- Legal aspects of firearms ownership and use.
- Uses for handguns.
- Storage and maintenance.
Expectations and Outcomes
Students will have an understanding in the mechanics, safe handling and use of a handgun, along with legal considerations, care and storage. The live fire component gives students a chance to experience or continue to improve their shooting performance.
A certificate will be issued at the completion of the course.

Documentation Requirements
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
- Handgun (we will have various handguns available for testing).
- (100) rounds ammunition (we will have some available if necessary for additional cost).
- Eye & hearing protection (both will be available for those that don't have their own. Prescription lenses are acceptable.
- We can help make arrangements for lunch or bring your own.
- Indoor range. Foul weather clothing not required.
