About SierraBravo on Target, LLC

I am a U.S. Army Veteran with over 40 years of shooting experience. From a young age, I was taught to respect and safely handle firearms, a passion that has driven me to become an ambassador for shooting sports. I guide individuals from their first shot to their 10,000th, dispelling myths and opening their eyes to the art of marksmanship—a lifelong pursuit of personal mastery.

My father, a Kansas hunter and U.S. Air Force officer, led the Air Force's Long Distance Marksmanship team. He instilled in me the skills of marksmanship across rifles, pistols, and shotguns. My military service included multiple deployments with the 18th Airborne Corps, 525 MI Brigade, 1st Armor Division, and 1st Infantry, among others, in Europe, Central America, and beyond.

Post-military, I've focused on refining my skills in defensive pistol shooting, modern room-clearing techniques, and understanding criminal psychology. This includes managing unknown contacts, recognizing violent intent, and detecting imminent threats. My training aims to enhance awareness and skills to avoid dangerous situations and prepare for potential violent encounters, emphasizing readiness before, during, and after such events. 

For nearly 30 years, my professional career has been in cybersecurity, where I recognized modern battlefields including cyber threats. At SierraBravo on Target, we offer courses to protect your digital world, integrating physical and digital threat management through our Sentinel6 Awareness program. This comprehensive solution empowers individuals to master threat management across six planes of the physical and digital realms

Policies

Cancellation Policy

At SierraBravo On Target, LLC, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and plans sometimes need to change. While we strive to be accommodating, we also incur costs for each student enrolled in our training programs, including instructor preparation, facility bookings, and materials. With that in mind, we have developed the following cancellation policy to balance flexibility with the need to cover our costs.

• Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled class date will receive a full refund, minus a [processing fee, if applicable].
• Cancellations made 3 to 6 days prior to the scheduled class date will receive a 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 3 days before the scheduled class will not be eligible for a refund due to the costs already incurred on your behalf, but you are eligible for a reschedule

Reschedule Policy

• If you'd prefer to reschedule rather than cancel, you may do so at no additional cost, provided you notify us at least 7 days before the scheduled class
• You may reschedule for a future class at no additional cost, provided you notify us at least 3 days in advance
• You may reschedule for a future class with a $30, provided you notify us at least 24 hours before the class. Failure to notify us within 24 hours will result in forfeiture of the class fee.

Exceptions for Emergencies
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule due to a personal emergency, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis to offer flexibility where appropriate.

In the rare event that we need to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, such as instructor illness or facility issues, you will have the option to reschedule at no additional cost or receive a full refund.

General Release of Liability Waiver

1. Introduction

This Release of Liability ("Release") is executed on the date below by the undersigned ("Participant"), in favor of SierraBravo On Target, LLC, a limited liability company organized and existing under the laws of the State of Alabama, including its owners, officers, employees, instructors, agents, volunteers, representatives, and affiliated entities (collectively referred to as "Releasees").

By signing this Release, the Participant agrees to release and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all liability for any injury, damage, or loss that may result from participation in the firearms training, self-defense instruction, or any other activities conducted by SierraBravo On Target, LLC.

2. Assumption of Risk

I, the undersigned Participant, acknowledge and understand that participation in firearms training, self-defense instruction, and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of serious injury, permanent disability, paralysis, or death. I further acknowledge that firearms are inherently dangerous and that the training provided by SierraBravo On Target, LLC may expose me to additional risks associated with live ammunition, physical exertion, and the handling of firearms.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities, whether known or unknown, and accept full responsibility for my participation.

3. Release and Waiver

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the activities conducted by SierraBravo On Target, LLC, I hereby release, discharge, and covenant not to sue SierraBravo On Target, LLC, its owners, officers, employees, instructors, agents, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, which may arise out of or be related to any injury, damage, or loss, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, that I may sustain as a result of my participation in firearms training or related activities.

This Release applies to all claims of injury, damage, or loss arising from:

• The use of firearms, ammunition, and related equipment.
• The use of any facilities, including shooting ranges, classrooms, and training grounds.
• The actions, omissions, or negligence of any instructors, staff, or other participants.
• Any travel to or from the training location.

4. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless SierraBravo On Target, LLC, its owners, officers, employees, instructors, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, damages, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) that may arise as a result of my participation in the activities, including any claim arising out of my own negligence or intentional misconduct.

5. Medical Authorization

In the event of an emergency, I authorize SierraBravo On Target, LLC and its staff to obtain medical treatment for me if necessary. I understand that I will be responsible for any medical costs incurred as a result of my participation in these activities.

6. Acknowledgment of Firearm Training Participation

I acknowledge that SierraBravo On Target, LLC is engaged solely in the business of providing firearms training, self-defense instruction, and related educational services. I further acknowledge that SierraBravo On Target, LLC does not sell firearms or ammunition, and I have not entered into this agreement for any purpose other than receiving firearms instruction and training.

7. Compliance with Alabama State Law

I acknowledge that this Release is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama and that any claims arising from this agreement shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of Alabama.

8. Severability

If any provision of this Release is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

9. Entire Agreement

This Release constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the subject matter herein and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the activities provided by SierraBravo On Target, LLC.

10. Voluntary Participation

I acknowledge that I have read this Release in its entirety, fully understand its terms, and sign it voluntarily, without any inducement or coercion. I further acknowledge that I have had the opportunity to ask any questions regarding this Release and that I am not relying on any statements or representations not contained in this document.

By signing this Release, I certify and acknowledge that I am fully legally allowed to possess and use a firearm under all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including but not limited to the laws of the State of Alabama. I further certify that I am not prohibited from owning or using a firearm due to any of the following conditions:

• Convictions for any felony or misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
• Current restraining orders, injunctions, or other legal prohibitions against firearm possession.
• Any disqualification under federal law, including but not limited to prohibitions under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) and § 922(n).
• Any mental health conditions, legal adjudications, or substance abuse issues that prohibit me from legally possessing a firearm.

I understand and acknowledge that SierraBravo On Target, LLC does not conduct background checks or verify the legal eligibility of participants to possess or use firearms, and that it is my sole responsibility to ensure my legal compliance.

In the event that it is later determined that I am not legally permitted to possess or use a firearm, I agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless SierraBravo On Target, LLC, its owners, officers, employees, instructors, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or legal actions that may arise as a result of my participation in the training while being ineligible to legally possess or use a firearm. This includes any legal consequences or penalties resulting from my participation in the training.

I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless SierraBravo On Target, LLC from any and all claims, costs, or damages (including attorneys' fees) arising out of my false representation of legal eligibility.
