Description
Good Shepherd will teach you not only intermediate to advanced defensive handgun technique but will also teach you how to address wounds, blood loss, and first responder techniques to save a life. Instructor will cover kinesthetic alignment and your bodies natural reaction to stress and how it applies to a gunfight. You will also learn the balance between speed and precision and how it applies to shooting a pistol as well. We will explore shooting from cover and do some scenario training as well. Stop the Bleed training will be included as a very vital part of the day and will include how to minimize blood loss and treat those wounds, use of a tourniquet and when and how to apply pressure, how to treat gunshot wounds and other wounds and will also cover what you should have in an emergency kit to address these issues.
Expectations and Outcomes
Shooter will leave with lots of useful information and the knowledge needed to become skilled as a defensive shooter and also learn how to potentially save lives with Stop The Bleed training.

Requirements
student should have a minimum of a basic pistol class prior to signing up or extensive experience with their firearm and be able to work from a holster and concealment . Ridgid iwb or owb concealment type holster and at least two mags and a extra mag carrier. Absolutely no Uncle Mike type holsters, no drop leg holsters and no fobus type holsters. 200/250 rounds of fmj ammo in caliber of your choice.
