About Sentry Concepts

Hi everyone! I am happy that you found our website and have taken the time to get to know us a little bit better. My name is Chase Coughlin and I am the owner of Sentry Concepts; as well as one of the instructors.

For the past ten years, I have served as a highly decorated Law Enforcement Officer. During my time I have served in a variety of positions to include: Corrections Officer, Reserve Officer, Patrol Officer, SWAT Operator, Task Force Officer with the FBI Fugitives of Violent Crime Task force, Public Safety Rescue Diver, Physical Control Tactics Instructor, Field Training Officer, Accident Re-constructionist, and the Team Leader for the Underwater Rescue and Recovery Team.

My ongoing career as a Police Officer led me to start Sentry Concepts. I have been very fortunate in my career to receive highly sought after and specialized training. Being a first responder, I have seen the helplessness of society when an emergency or disaster happens. I have seen the panic and turmoil people go through when they are thrust into a situation they simply have never been in or have trained for. Whether its a survivor of a violent attack or someone whose loved one had a heart attack, I have seen where the proper training and education would have helped tremendously. I have also seen situations where improper training has also made things worse!

After speaking with fellow first responders about these issues, I decided to open a training company to help educate everyone from ordinary citizens to first responders on how to better protect themselves and others. While first responders (police, fire, ems) are here to help and protect the public, there are only so many of us and we are far outnumbered. That is why I want to teach you how to become your own first responder and make you capable to handle any situations long enough for my brothers and sisters to get to you and help!
