Description
Carbine Level 1 is a comprehensive introduction to the AR or sporting rifle platform. It is designed to take the first-time AR owner or those new to the AR15 and give them a solid foundation to build on. It’s the AR15 class!
The following are just a few of what can be expected in Carbine Level 1.
- Breakdown of the AR15 rifle with an overview of all the parts
- Loading and unloading
- Proper shouldering, grip, and stance
- Sight alignment with an AR15
- Reloads
- Presentation drills
- Firing controlled vs hammered pairs

Carbine Level 1 is the perfect way to get up to speed quickly and equips you to exhibit proficiency in a very short period of time. Furthermore, it sets the student up nicely to move on to Carbine Level 2, which embraces shooting on the move, engaging multiple targets, and more.
Class time is ~5 hours.

Documentation Requirements

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
- At least 200 – 250 rounds. Ammunition is available for purchase at checkout and in class.
- Multiple magazines. Magazines will be available for purchase the day of class.
- A sporting rifle (AR, AK, or equivalent). A limited quantity of rentals are available.
- Eye and electronic ear protection. Electronic ear protection is required and is available for purchase in class.
- Rifle sling installed.
- Properly zeroed sight/sight system. There will be little to no time to zero sights in class.
