About RW Defense
Richard Worthey has over 30 years of experience in the training and use of firearms for personal self-defense, hunting, sporting and competition events shooting pistol, rifle, and shotgun. He is an NRA Certified Chief Range Safety Officer and currently serves as the Director of Safety and Training at a local private outdoor shooting range. He has been teaching since 2010.
He is a Benefactor Member of the National Rifle Association and a Life Member of the Texas State Rifle Association. He is an active member of the International Defensive Pistol Association and the United States Practical Shooting Association regularly competing in local IDPA and IPSC matches.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
The only way we know that a class is full is when the specified number of students have registered and paid their tuition fees. Once that class is full, we have to turn away others who would like to attend. If you cancel too close to the class date or fail to show up for class, you keep someone else from attending and cost us a student. Please make sure that you are able to attend a class before signing up. We feel that this is a fair policy to you and all other students, and to us. In order to minimize this, we have strict policies on pre-payment and cancellation.
Please note that there is no refund for cancellation less than 7 days before a class. The only exception is if we have to cancel the class due to unforeseen circumstances or if the minimum number of students needed for a class is not met. In those cases only, a full refund will be made. We reserve the right to cancel the class if we don't have a minimum of 6 students registered for the class.

Other Policy
We reserve the right to remove students from the class who ignore instruction and are unsafe. No refunds will be issued.
Waiver
All of our instructors have Instructor Insurance and require students to sign a waiver at the beginning of the class.
