Description
Behavior Compliant Close Quarters Battle (BC/CQB) is for all levels of Operators who are part of a team such as SWAT, Special Ops, Drug Units, Crime Suppression, etc. or those who aspire to be. It builds on the skills, tactics and Empirically Validated information learned in the Solo BC/CQB course which is recommended prior to this course. It will help every Operator to better understand BC/CQB tactics and become a more integrated part of their team. as you learn Scientifically validated methods. It will push you forward to further develop and enhance your CQB skills, tactics and critical thinking.

Warrior mindset, Deadly Force, The real battles in a Gunfight, Behavior Compliant Tactics, On the range, you will develop a thorough understanding of Team CQB and Team Movement, How to use body mechanics, Compressed Ready Techniques, Compressed Threshold Techniques, Weapon Manipulations, 3 Reload Tactics, Clearing Multiple Malfunctions, CQB Tactics and Strategy that will directly transfer to the shoot house. Tactical Raid Planning, Critical Decision Making, Target Identification/Discrimination, Room Entries, Room Clearing, Shooting and Moving, Shooting while Moving, Inside the shoot house, you will learn to put it all together and see first-hand the benefits of BC/CQB in action. This course will help everyone from Patrolman to full Operator develop a deeper understanding and knowledge base of BC/CQB including the skills, tactics and foundational principles of the system. BC/CQB tactics work and you will experience the BC/CQB difference for yourself.
The BC/CQB system works in a logical and progressive manner. As an Operator, you will gain a sound understanding of BC/CQB foundational guiding principles along with the why/how that makes them work.Finally, students will vet the BC/CQB system by putting it to the test during force-on-force training in the shoot house. You will end the course with a better understanding of what it means to be part of a Unit or Team. The BC/CQB system is designed to make you an overall better Operator and Team Member. This translates into increased knowledge, confidence and survivability. This training is especially helpful for Team Leaders and Trainers and can be customized to meet the specific training needs of your team, group or department.
Expectations and Outcomes
Our methods and teachings may be a little different than what you have previously experienced. We use Performance-Based training combined with limited Standards-Based training. Obviously, we have high standards for our training programs but we don’t train for outcomes ie. ambiguous standards, we train for your forward progress. Our focus is to help you improve your personal performance (skillset) at whatever level you are at today so you can be better, faster and smarter tomorrow.

Fundamental Tactical Pistol and Rifle or equivalent
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Just like all of our other courses, you must first empty your cup. Neither a full cup nor a big ego have room for more. Come with an open-mind and humble spirit ready to learn and work hard to move forward in your skill development. This is a Combat style CQB course so you will get dirty, sweaty and tired. (But it will be so worth it!)
Proof and previous pistol and rifle training. Our Combat Pistol 1 and Combat Rifle 1 or equivalent (Certified Law Enforcement Officer’s automatically qualify)
A quality rifle with iron sights or optic with a sling.
A quality semi-automatic pistol (iron sights or optic) with a tactical or duty holster.
At least 3 magazines for your rifle.
At least 3 magazines for your pistol with tactical or duty mag pouches.
Tactical or Duty belt
Full tactical kit (vest, plate carrier, helmet, etc.)
Minimum of 600 rounds of quality rifle range ammo.
Minimum of 600 rounds of quality pistol range ammo.
Department owned SIM pistol, rifle and ammo (if available)
Weather appropriate attire that you don’t mind getting dirty. (Patrol uniforms may get ruined)
Hearing protection and Eye protection
Hydration - Water, Gatorade, etc.
Lunch/Snacks
Small notebook/pen
Brown or tan masking tape (to tape holes in targets)
Recommended Items - Electronic ear pro, Hat, Gloves, Knee pads, Sunscreen, bug repellant
