Born in NY, NY. Raised in Cottageville, SC. Entered the US Army in 1981 and served as a paratrooper and aviation maintenance electronics technician with the 82nd Airborne Division, Ft Bragg, NC until retirement in 2003. Servered in 3 campaigns; Panama (Operation Just Cause), Iraq (Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm) and Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom). My final 3 years of service was as a First Sergeant of a helicopter maintenance company leading over 100 men and women. After retirement, served as a maintenance supervisor for units mobilizing to combat and demobilizing, returning from combat to Ft Bragg, NC. Finally, served as a Housing Manager for Department of Public Works on Ft Bragg, NC until retirement in 2014. Began CWP instructing in early 2017. During my military service, I served as primary instructor and range safety officer for handguns, rifles and machince gun ranges for 12 years. In 2014, we relocated to South Carolina, building in Summerville. Besides my love for firearms training, I am a SC HS basketball offical and SC HS softball umpire. I am also an advid golfer and compete with Golfweek Amatuer Tour.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              In closing, I am available to teach firearm safety upon request.
