Description
These classes provide the experienced shooter with the state-mandated information and qualifications to legally conceal and carry their firearm where allowed.
- Eight hours of classroom instruction, which is composed of a review of self-defense laws and North Carolina concealed carry laws, Handgun Safety, Handguns, Marksmanship Fundamentals, Carry Concealed Safety Issues, Presentation Techniques, Cleaning and Maintenance, Ammunition, and Proficiency Drills.
- Live fire qualification on the range, where you'll fire from 3, 5, 7 and 9 yards.

Expectations and Outcomes
- Demonstrate proficiency in the safe handling of the hangun to include loading, unloading, storing or securing, and firing the handgun.
- Identify the places that handguns may not be carried even if the individual has a Conacealed Carry Handgun permit.
- Identify the major parts of the revolver or semi-auto pistol.
- Demonstrate proficiency in marksmanship fundamentals.
- Explain the provisions under North Carolina Common and Statutory Law in which the use of deadly force would be justifiable.

Documentation Requirements
Drivers License
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
- A firearm suitable for concealed carry.
- Magazines or speed loaders/strips for your firearm.
- Eye and ear protection is required.
- Concealed carry holster with belt. (No cross-draw or shoulder holsters) and/or handgun carry case.
- Ammunition for your firearm is required, minimum 50 rounds (recommend 100 rds).
