Description
Students demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination. Students will receive the NRA Trainer’s Guide, NRA Rifle Shooting Instructor Candidate Packet and NRA Basic Rifle Shooting course student packet.
Expectations and Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course through teachbacks, practical demonstrations, shooting qualification and written exams, you will be authorized to teach the NRA Basic Rifle Shooting course.

NRA Basic Rifle Course Certificate
Documentation of BIT in the previous 2 years.
Requirements
Rifle (semi auto, bolt, pump, hinge, lever)
~200 rounds of ammo
Ear/eye protection
pen/pencil & notebook
3 ring binder (for lesson plans) or digital copy on tablet/laptop
NRA Trainers Guide (from BIT course)
