I started being a firearms instructor in 1988.  I became certified though the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.  My primary instruction at the time was as a range instructor with the Illinois Dept. of Corrections.  I was certified to instruct handgun, rifle and shotgun. I was appointed as the institutions Tactical Unit Commander.  I trained with Defense Technology in less than lethal munitions and Chemical Agents.  I was also a tactical unit instructor.  As Tactical unit Commander, I was also in charge of the Tactical Rescue Team, training in hostage rescue and building assaults.  In 2008, I took over all employee training and became the facilities Training Coordinator.  Part of those duties included being the facilities Range Master.  I also attended Glock Instructor School and was part of a glock transition team for the department.  I retired in 2013 and started using my credentials to instruct Illinois Conceal Carry.

Cancellation Policy

Deposit is non refundable but may used for the next scheduled class if 72 hour notification is given
Deposit is non fefundable on a no call/no show

Reschedule Policy

If a deposit was paid for a previous class and the student had to cancel for personal reasons, it may be applied for a rescheduled class
