Description
An Intermediate Shooter possesses all the skills of a beginner, with the added ability to safely draw from a holster, whether concealed or overt, and engage targets with confidence and precision.
The NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home Course is designed for intermediate shooters who wish to learn firearm use for self-defense. It necessitates prior proficiency in safe gun handling and basic marksmanship. This course is not for beginners and demands advanced shooting skills.
This intensive course requires students to learn and practice a variety of shooting skills to quickly and effectively respond to a wide array of threats they may face outside the home.

Requirements
Prerequisite: Students are required to obtain a certificate of completion from either the Basic CCW Course, Basics of Personal Protection In The Home Course or the Defensive Pistol Course. A Pre-Course Evaluation is mandatory prior to attendance for those who hold a State/Local CCW Permit.
Student are required to bring their firearm, strong-side holste, concealed carry garment with a baseball cap, 3 magazines or speed loader and 100 rounds of ammo.
