Description
This course presents what we consider the essential gun skills needed to survive in todays ever changing world. We will cover an incredible amount of material in this class, which begins on Saturday morning with our legal discussion and our core training beliefs, and continues throughout the day. This is not for the beginner who has never shot before; if you have doubts about your qualifications for the class, call and we can get your squared away beforehand. This is a FIGHTING class! You will work hard, and be expected to perform, but you will leave with a greater sense of confidence and skill.

Some of the topics covered include: ATTRIBUTES OF THE HANDGUN, LEGAL ASPECTS OF THE SHOOTING, DEALING WITH THE POLICE IN THE AFTERMATH, SHOT PLACEMENT, ONE HANDED AND TWO HANDED SHOOTING, MALFUNCTION DRILLS, MOVING AND SHOOTING, AFTER ACTION ASSESSMENTS, VERBAL DE-ESCALATION, MULTIPLE TARGETS, USE OF COVER AND CONCEALMENT.

Serviceable handgun (revolver or semi-auto), strong side hip holster (either kydex or leather,) 3 magazines or speedloaders (minimum) with pouches, note taking material, sturdy belt, eye and ear protection, brimmed hat, clothing appropriate for the weather and 500 rounds of ammo (minimum.)
