NC CONCEALED CARRY HANDGUN PERMIT CLASS

Description

This CLASS is required by NC State Law to earn your NC CONCEALED CARRY HANDGUN (NC-CCH) PERMIT CERTIFICATION to apply for your NC-CCH PERMIT. 

ALL qualified NC Residents, 20 years old (or older) can attend our class!
However, you must be 21 years old within 1 year from your class date to apply for your NC-CCH PERMIT in the NC County where you live, anywhere in NC!

WHERE IS OUR CLASS GIVEN? Our business, our classes, and our facility is dedicated completely to our customers and this sport. We have our classes on-site at MAC GUN WORX in our private, dedicated classroom, please use the front entrance. 

WHERE IS THE SHOOTING QUALIFICATION EXAM GIVEN? You will need to drive a short distance to our off-site, private outdoor range from our classroom. Private Range Fees & a 🎯Life-Sized Silhouette Target is included, which you can take home with you after class. All range information and directions will be given to you during class. We award two "MGW SHARPSHOOTER AWARDS" for the top targets shot during our class.

WHERE DO YOU PARK FOR CLASS? Please park across the street from MAC GUN WORX in the county parking lot. Cross the street at the crosswalk utilizing the assistance of the walk light. We are not responsible for accidents.

Do not bring Ammunition in the classroom.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

Requirements

WHAT ITEMS DO YOU NEED TO BRING FOR THE SHOOTING QUALIFICATION EXAM AT OUR PRIVATE RANGE? Do not bring ammunition into the classroom!

• A CLEAN & FUNCTIONAL Concealed Style Handgun, no larger than a .45 caliber (No Derringers). Clean and test all handguns before class
• A Fitted Open Carry Holster for your handgun
• 50 Rounds (Full Metal Jacket) FMJ Range Ammunition must be in the original manufacturer box (no reloads)
• Eye Protection
• Hearing (Ear) Protection
• Extra magazines
• Speedloader, if available

IS A HANDGUN REQUIRED TO TAKE OUR CLASS?
No, you can purchase the CLASS RENTAL PACKAGE for only $25. This package includes everything needed to take the shooting qualification exam (as detailed below) except eye & hearing protection (due to unsanitary reuse). Rental Package is available for one-time use, per person, per class.
