About Lioness Defense Firearms Training LLC

My name is Monique Clarke, and I am the Founder and Owner of Lioness Defense Firearms Training LLC. I started this company with the intent to provide much-needed education and training on firearms safety and handling to everyday citizens.  

I am currently on active duty in the United States Marine Corps with 19 years of service, 15 of those as a certified Combat Marksmanship Trainer.

Additionally, I am certified as an Advanced Rangemaster Instructor, National Rifle Association (NRA) Instructor, and National African American Gun Association (NAAGA) Instructor. I pride myself on setting the tone for a professional and safe training environment. With over a decade of firearms experience, I have developed a niche for advanced instructional techniques and am well-versed in my trade. With that said, I believe in and remain a lifetime student of my craft to ensure I deliver quality instruction to you as the student.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy:
   a. If you wish to cancel your order or training session, please notify us as soon as possible.
   b. Cancellations made [14 days] before the scheduled training session will be eligible for a full refund.
   c. Cancellations made within [7 days] of the scheduled training session may be subject to a cancellation fee or partial refund, which will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
   d. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 72 or after the scheduled training session.

Reschedule Policy

Changes and Rescheduling:
   a. If you need to reschedule a training session, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the available options.
   b. Only one reschedule is allowed per course registration. After one reschedule, the student forfeits the seat and will need to do a new registration.
   c. We reserve the right to make changes to the training schedule, trainer, or venue due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you in advance and offer alternative arrangements or a refund if the session cannot be rescheduled.

Refund Policy

Refund Process:
   a. To request a refund for a canceled training session, please contact our customer service and provide the necessary details, such as your order number and reason for cancellation.
   b. Refunds will be processed within [5 business days] after approval, and the refund amount will be credited back to the original payment method.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, here are some things to look into.

1. Double-check your bank account to make sure the funds aren't present or aren't scheduled to post on a later date.
2. Contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
3. Contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Other Policy

Age policy:

Lioness Defense welcomes students in our adult classes starting at age 12 as long as they operate within the confines of the safety rules and are attentive. Parents and Guardians must be present and sign a waiver of liability for their minor children. Our KidZone program is tailored to children between the ages of 7 and 11. Our program is designed to present realistic scenarios and events that your child may encounter. It focuses on safety rules, basic fundamentals, and proper clearing procedures.

My fiancee was unsure of what her first handgun should be so I registered her for Lioness Defense's "So You Want to Buy a Gun" course. Let me tell y'all something. Monique is thorough, safety-minded, and beyond knowledgeable. We left with more knowledge about handguns than I expected (I took notes). The two key takeaways were my fiancee identified what she'd like for her first handgun and I'm no longer scared of 45 caliber guns. Monique is an excellent firearms instructor and you should take her courses.

Where do I start? Monique was 100% the best instructor I've ever had with teaching me marksmanship. I came to her to get ready for a military qualification test and she exceed my expectations. She is very professional and patient which I appreciated. She taught me the basics of handling a handgun as well as provided constructive critiques of my shooting strategy. I know with practice and using the skills she taught me, I'll pass with flying colors as my next qualification test. I'd highly recommend her services if you are looking for firearms training.

On this past Father's day my son gifted me a Basic Pistol Class for Concealed Carry. Little did I know what a great experience we would have in this class. I had previous firearms training but none have matched the level of detail or the knowledge about national and State of Virginia laws as this firearms class. Our instructor, Ms Monique Clarke gave us the perfect blend of knowledge, humor and instruction to equip us with proper technique and usage for any pistol. Her staff which included AK and several other members was also very attentive to our needs and contributed to the overall quality of this class. Not only did I enjoy the class but I plan to schedule it for my entire family in the very near future.
