About Liberty Defense Group Academy
Bob Selph is the Lead Trainer for Liberty Defense Group Academy (LDGA) and has been with the company since 2022. He is currently responsible for the creation, implementation, and teaching of various curricula for LDGA, as well as private instruction. He is currently a certified NRA instructor across multiple principles. Mr. Selph has 18 years of Law Enforcement experience, with 14 of those years as a Professional Law Enforcement Instructor and Certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor. Mr. Selph is still serving the NWA area as a part-time law enforcement officer, where he currently holds his Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate. He has multiple years in the private security sector and seven years of experience as a firefighter.
Miguel Rodriguez is the Training Administrator for LDGA and has been with the company since 2019. He is currently responsible for the audits, implementation, and teaching of various curricula for LDGA, as well as private instruction. He is currently a certified NRA instructor across multiple principles, as well as being part of the LDG PSD team. Mr. Rodriguez has been a Security Professional for over 15 years. He previously served in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman and Squad Leader with two combat deployments. Prior to training for LDGA, Mr. Rodriguez served as a CIT & Security Specialist for LDG and lends his real-world experience to the training of LDG employees. Mr. Rodriguez is currently attending the University of Arkansas–Grantham with a focus on studies in Human Resources.
Bob Yost is an Instructor for LDGA and has been with the company since 2019. He is currently responsible for the teaching of various curricula for LDGA, as well as private instruction. He is currently a certified NRA instructor across multiple principles. Mr. Yost is a retired law enforcement officer after serving 23 years in Northwest Arkansas. He previously served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer. Before training for LDGA, Mr. Yost previously served as a CIT and security Specialist for LDG and lends his real-world experience to the training of LDG employees.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
By submitting your application for training, you agree to provide 24 hours notice, prior to class start time, of cancellation of attendance. Any cancellation after the 24 hours will result in administrative fees, agreed to be paid from the initial amount paid to LDGA and / or its parent company.
Reschedule Policy
Rescheduling of training will result in the reservation of future class spot(s) for a similar class.
Refund Policy
Refunds will be provided for classes, with proper notice (see Cancellation). Any cancellation after the agreed upon time period will result in administrative fees.
Frequently Asked Questions
I have taken other training classes, why should I take yours? While the basics of firearms insruction may be similar, we strive to set ourselves apart from other companies and instrcutors with this: No two students are the same. We offer more one-on-one instruction, and tailor our styles of instruction to meet your needs.
WHY DO YOU COST MORE THAN OTHER PLACES? We pride ourselves in training to better standards than other companies.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS? Yes, we offer discounts to Military, Law Enforcement, and First Responders. Group Discounts are available.
DO YOU TEACH CONCEALED CARRY? No. Currently we do not have plans to teach CCW. We believe in teaching repetition, responsibility, and respect with and for the firearm. We would much rather someone be comfortable with their weapon long before they go thru a CCW course. From what we have seen in our experience, CCW instructors Relay information, rather than Teach someone how to use the weapon.
