I have spent the past six years in the military and currently working as a law enforcement professional with a large agency in California. Due to my military experience, law enforcement profession and being a member of the NRA, I have become proficient with the use of firearms. In addition, I am a Department of Justice certified firearms instructor and worked in military intelligence and investigations. I possess real-world experience understanding how and when to use a firearm. My military experience has provided me with knowledge and experience to fire every type of pistols, rifles, shotguns and crew-served weapon system. For the past four years, I've worked as a sales associate in different gun stores that I have also partnered with on various occasion

Waiver

I, ____________________________, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following, as a condition of firearms training provided by Capital Outdoors.

1. My involvement and/or participation in Firearms training is voluntary, and I am acting under my own free will.

1. There is a risk of danger, bodily harm, injury, emotional stress, or death as a result of my participation. The risks arise from of shooting firearms, being outside in the weather, and or loading firearms magazines.

<![if !supportLists]>3.      <![endif]>There is the potential for risks and dangers that may not be obvious or reasonably foreseeable at this time.

1. I do not have any medical ailments, physical limitations, or mental disabilities that will affect my ability to participate in shooting. I am not a felon nor do I have an active restraining order. I am not a fugitive from Justice.

1. Capital Outdoors undertakes no direct legal or financial responsibility for my personal safety or well-being when I am participating in Shooting sports.

1. I assume the risks, including, but not limited to, those outlined in Section 3 of this agreement. I will obey all commands from the range staff. I will shoot inside the limits of the range.

1. I forever release Capital Outdoors and instructors from all claims and causes of action that I or my representatives now have or may have in the future for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death occurring to me, arising out of participation in firearms training.

1. I am 100% liable for all medical expenses incurred as a result of any injury or property damage during my participation in shooting all firearms. Capital Outdoors has the right to eject you from the class and range for any reason. NO refund will be given back.

1. In the event that any one or more of the provisions of this agreement shall be held to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable or in conflict with the law according to the jurisdiction of the state of California, the remaining portions will not be invalidated, and shall remain in full force and effect.

1. This is a legally binding contract, but it is not meant to pronounce any claims or defenses that are legally prohibited.
