Description
Before registering for this instructor class, you must have completed the PPITH student and Basic Pistol courses. This is a nine-hour course. Students should expect to shoot approximately 150 rounds of ammunition. Students will learn to teach the PPITH, including basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students should bring their NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection In the Home handbook and their Basic Pistol Handbook.

Documentation Requirements
Before taking this class, you must provide the instructor with a copy of your Basic Pistol and Personal Protection inside the Home Certificates.
You must be able to legally use and/or own a firearm in the United States.
