Description
Session 1: Developing a Personal & Home Protection Plan: Introduction, Why is conflict Avoidance Avoidance so Important, Situational Awareness, Color Codes of Awareness, Action Versus Reaction, Observing our Environment How a Concealed Carry Permits Fits. Session 2: Legal Use of Force: Understanding the Use of Force Continuum, A Detailed Walkthrough of the Four Pilliars for Justifying the Use of Deadly Force, How Defense in the Home Differs from Outside the Home & Defending Property. Session 3: Violent Encounters and Their Aftermath: UNderstanding Fight or Flight, The Physiological Associated with Extreme Stress, Issuing Commands & Reviewing Options, The Immediate Aftermath, Dealing with the Police & More. Weather you currently hold a NYS Pistol/or in the application process. This course is design to assist in your learning process. There will be a test at the conclusion of the Classroom Training. Expectations and Outcomes
For those students who are applying for a NYS Pissol Permit a Letter of Completion will be issued on your behalf addressed to the Licensing Authority (Judge) of your County.

Documentation Requirements
NYS Driver License for Identification. This will suffice for address for class & proper addressing of letter on your behalf for the Licensing Authority.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Classroom: Students will need a ink pen of their choice, Two (2) Highlighters (perferably 1 Yellow, 1 Pink/Green) Note: 270 + page Textbook will be included with this training session.
