Description
Meet at the G2G location and drive to Jasper (45 minutes) to private club outdoor range and spend 3 hours at the range.
Student to bring own firearm or communicate needs with instructor.
BRING:
- Pistol
- 400 rounds of ammunition
- Inert/ dummy rounds x 5, caliber specific to your gun
- Hearing protection- preferably electronic to better receive instruction on the firing line
- Retention holsters are preferred to be Kydex, form-fitted to your pistol. Nylon or leather must have a thumb break or some form of retention. Without a proper holster, you'll need to perform all drills off the table. No Blackhawk Serpa holsters are allowed due to safety concerns.
- 3-4 magazines
- Magazine pouch for at least two magazines
- Weapons cleaning equipment
- Jeans or pants with belt loops and durable shirts (no tank tops or low-cut collars)
- Strong belt/pistol belt
- Rain gear—the event will proceed regardless of weather conditions
- Food (our lunch breaks will be brief, so bring something that requires no preparation)
- Water (it's important to stay hydrated throughout the day)
- First Aid Kit with Tourniquet (optional but encouraged)
