Description
Women's Introduction to Defensive Shooting focuses on gaining familiarity with your equipment and efficiency in getting first round hits on your target.
Grip, Stance, Sight Picture, Sight Alignment, and Trigger Control are reviewed in depth. Presentation from the holster and the ready position are performed with target engagement out to 15+ yards. Other areas discussed include the Use of Deadly Force and the Law, Color Code of Mental Awareness, ammunition choice and more.

Fundamental Concealed Carry is for you if you have completed an intro or beginner course and you are now ready to move forward with how to draw and become more familiar with your equipment. Fundamental Concealed Carry focuses on gaining familiarity with your equipment and efficiency in getting first round hits on your target.
Certificates will be awarded at class completion.

Documentation Requirements
Congratulations on your successful registration for the upcoming class with GTAC. Be sure to confirm your date, time, and location. Directions to 17 South Rod and Gun Club are available online on your favorite navigation app or website.
Once you have entered the 17S gate, follow the road past the clubhouse, past the skeet range, to the 500 yard range. The GTAC gate is to the left of the 500 yard range. You will see our logo on the fence. Please park outside the fenced area. You are welcome to use the restrooms in the clubhouse, at the skeet range, or near the tactical bays. We look forward to a fast paced, safe, and challenging class with you.

Requirements
A few reminders for class. We will begin at the GTAC range at 17 South (Located left of the 500 yd range). Be aware of outdoor temperatures and prepare accordingly.
Mandatory Equipment:
Functional handgun 380 ACP or greater
Serviceable hip carry holster - We are happy to make suggestions!
Please make sure your handgun and holster are functional!
At least 3 magazines, magazine holders and stiff belt
100 - 150 rounds of ammunition for your gun
Eye and ear protection
Hat with brim (baseball hat)
Sunscreen and Bug Spray
Note book/pen is HIGHLY recommended
