Description
A key distinction between amateur and professional shooters lies in their gun handling skills—not just marksmanship. While many shooters focus solely on hitting their targets, few dedicate sufficient time to mastering essential, repeatable skills like reloading under pressure and clearing malfunctions efficiently. This class prioritizes these critical technical skills, integrating them seamlessly with marksmanship to complete this piece of the puzzle in handgun proficiency.
Topics Covered
This class will deconstruct the Shooting Process and Reverse Engineer manipulation of your handgun in a repetitive, repeatable way.
Included are progressive drills that allow students to grow and become confident with handgun manipulation skills in a variety of scenarios.
Scenarios will be designed to replicate real-world challenges, preparing students for defensive, competitive, or professional shooting contexts.
Expectations and Outcomes
Each scenario in this course will involve one, several, or all of the following: static engagement, multiple target engagements, moving and shooting, move, stop and shoot, moving with multiple target engagements, and performing multiple tasks with engagement. The drills are designed to challenge each student to self assess and to improve their performance utilizing their own unique skill set.
Expectations:
Increased proficiency in handling and manipulating a handgun during dynamic scenarios.
Enhanced situational awareness and ability to respond to changing conditions on the range.
Types
Advanced, Basic, Intermediate, Concealed Carry Training, USCCA Courses
