Description
LE/MIL personnel need to be able to think through critical situations and make timely decisions regarding the need to shoot or not shoot. The course goal is to allow participants to see and internalize the totality of the situation and adjust to rapidly changing circumstances.
GTAC in conjunction with Joint Training Facility (JTF), is going to offer a ‘martial oriented’ firearms training course for LE and Military personnel.
What does that mean? It means …
· It will not be NOT sport oriented!
· It will include decision making and stress induced threat processing (ITP).
· It will begin with basic drills to determine your level of comfort, competence, and safety.
· It will work through accuracy, distance, and balance of speed and precision drills on paper, moving targets, and steel.
· It will culminate with scenario based live fire iterations on steel and moving targets and a full day of hands-on CQB.
Who: Instructors from Global Tactical Training Group (GTAC) and JTF will be leading the class. Collectively, the instructors have over 100 years’ experience in LE and Military special operations and firearms instruction.
What: A 3-day class stressing combat marksmanship and decision making with both handgun and rifle/carbine. Drills and scenarios on the live fire range and in the JTF ‘Shoot House’ will offer the chance to improve your firearms and CQB skills.
Where: 17 South Rod & Gun Club, 5899 N Coastal Hwy, Fleming, GA and
JTF in Pooler, GA.
When: February 25-27, 2025. Classes will begin at 0830 and end at 1630.
There will be an hour break for lunch (on-site).
Why: To become more effective and efficient with your firearms and increase your skill sets.
Cost: $250.00
