Description

This will be an upper level handgun/carbine training course that assumes you have some fundamental skill with your carbine and your handgun. The course will consist of instruction on the practical use of the handgun and carbine in critical situations with the emphasis on hitting on demand and rapid weapon transition in a variety of positions.

- Course duration: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Location: 17 South Rod and Gun Club, Hwy 17 South, Richmond Hill, GA
- Pre-requisite: Defensive Level I Handgun and Carbine class

- Student Required Equipment:

- Full size RELIABLE functional handgun and 2-3 magazine holders
- Holster, Magazine holders and Belt
(Functional, Serviceable SAFE Holster and stiff belt to support said holster)
150-200 rounds of ammunition

- Serviceable carbine (M4/AK variants, etc.)
MINIMUM of two magazines for the carbine
Sling for the carbine (MANDATORY)
100 rounds of carbine ammunition (NO STEEL CORE AMMO!)

Eye/Ear protection
Baseball or similar cap,
Sunscreen, bug spray, water, lunch and any other personal comfort items you may need.

Expectations and Outcomes

Certificates will be awarded at class completion after satisfactory skills testing.

Documentation Requirements

Congratulations on your successful registration for the upcoming class with GTAC. Be sure to confirm your date, time, and location. Directions to 17 South Rod and Gun Club are available online. If proceeding to the GTAC range, once you have entered the 17 South main gate, follow the road past the clubhouse, past the skeet range, and you will see the 500 yard range. The GTAC gate is to the left of the 500 yard range. You will see our logo on the fence. Please park outside the wooden fenced area. You are welcome to use the restrooms in the clubhouse, at the skeet range, or near the tactical bays. We look forward to a safe and challenging class with you.
