Description
In the current world situation, we must be more aware than ever to the possibility of an attack from a terrorist, extremist or a simple psycho who wants to make a statement by killing others en mass.
In order to successfully stop these individuals, we must learn to be proactive and not defensive and we must apply lethal force quickly and decisively when appropriate.

• Long range handgun shooting
• Lethal targeting
• EDC (Every Day Carry) needs
Expectations and Outcomes
This course will include the use of steel, moving and 3-D targets and CQS (Close Quarters Shooting) techniques. This will be an Intermediate/Advanced level class. Students should be intimately familiar with their equipment and proficient in firearm fundamentals.
Certificates will be awarded at class completion.

Prerequisite Class(s): Fundamental Concealed Carry or equivalent*
Congratulations on your successful registration for the upcoming class with GTAC. Be sure to confirm your date, time, and location. Directions to 17 South Rod and Gun Club are included with this email. Once you have entered the gate, follow the road past the clubhouse, past the skeet range, and you will see the 500 yard range. The GTAC gate is to the left of the 500 yard range. You will see our logo on the fence. Please park outside the fenced area. You are welcome to use the restrooms in the clubhouse, at the skeet range, or near the tactical bays. We look forward to a fast paced, safe, and challenging class with you.
Requirements
A few reminders for class. Be aware of outdoor temperatures and prepare accordingly. It may be hot and humid, or heck - it may be cool and breezy.
Be sure to bring the following:*
- Full size, reliable, functional handgun (Please make sure your handgun and holster are functional)!
- Serviceable holster, at least 3 magazines, magazine holders and belt
- 150-200 rounds of ammunition
- Eye and ear protection
- Hat with brim (baseball hat)
- Concealment garment required (a button up shirt or a vest or a jacket that you can practice moving to draw your gun - don't overthink that. Just about anything will do. Layer that over a t-shirt if you'd like). We may or may not use it.
- Note book/pen if you take notes
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Lunch, snack, and plenty of water
- Any personal comfort items you may need (bandaids, etc.)
