Ok, we have all seen the aids. You pay your $35, show up at your local gun show or hotel conference room, and walk out 2 hours later with your Concealed Carry training certificate. But what did you get for your $35 dollars besides a piece of paper? Do you trust your life with this type of training?
You got the privilege of sitting and listening to an instructor talking to a set of PowerPoint slides in front of a group of about 20 people, a lecture by a lawyer trying to sell you self-defense insurance, and a chance to shoot a 22 cal. pistol into a bucket of sand.
I not saying that they didn't meet the legal requirements. I am saying that they met the minimum requirements. It is a case of you getting what you pay for.
