Description
This course is designed to instruct the individual in the safe handling of their chosen carbine. This course will include detailed classroom instruction with a crawl, walk, run process. Subjects covered will be the appropriate mindset, mental awareness levels, equipment selection, weapon handling, shooting stances and positions, malfunction drills, multiple target engagement, shooting under self induced and exterior induced stress, tactical decision making drills utilizing various types of cover and barricades and the conduct of safe weapons range fire. More advanced skills will be learned and the basic skills will be reinforced with various shooting drills and situations.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Carbine
200 rounds of rifle ammunition minimum.
Min. 3 quality rifle magazine
Spare ammunition pouches, carrier, or magazine holster
Quality belt
Sling
Ear and wrap around eye protection
Clothing suitable for the weather
Cap with a brim
Rugged shoes or boots
Optional items - knee/elbow pads, etc.
* You are welcome to use optics but you are encouraged to have back up iron sights as well.
