Description

This is an Introduction Course for anyone wanting to learn how to handle a handgun Safely and Properly. Together we'll take a short history lesson of the types of handguns and how they operate. I'll explain how your ammunition works, how to stand, properly grip a handgun, learn how to align your sights and the follow-up shots.

This is an enjoyable class that will leave you with a new understanding of handguns and new skills that can be built upon.

Types of handguns, understanding how ammunition works, identifying different calibers. 

Proper Stance, Grip, Sight Alignment, Trigger Management and Follow-Through.

Documentation Requirements

*Students must 21 years of age or older, under aged students will need to   accompanied by an adult,
*Must have a valid Government Issued I.D.
*Students are urged to bring thier personal handguns, if this is   not possible please contact Firearm Safety 101 prior to the class to obtain a rental handgun.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

Requirements

*Ammunition will be supplied by the Student a minimum of 50 rounds is required.  Caliber should be determined by the student unless Firearm Safety 101 is supplying a rental handgun, in this case 9mm 115gr or 124gr FMJ is required.
*Students will need to provide eye and ear protection.

We will be on an outdoor range so, bring a hat, sunglasses, water and snacks. The lecture portion of the class under cover.
