Description
Greetings Concealed Carry Students!
Thank you for signing up for Firearm Mentor's concealed carry class.
Here is what you will need to bring to class:
- Your FOID card (or driver's license, if you have not received the FOID in the mail).
- Two outer garments (a pullover/sweatshirt and an open front button down shirt or jacket). We will be learning to draw a firearm from concealment while wearing those two types of clothing.
- A firearm and holster (IF OWNED). Please do not buy a gun and holster specifically for class. I have plenty for students to use and train with. Also, by spending time together, I can help you pick a firearm that is right for you, following the class, and direct you to dealers with the best pricing and service.
- A belt. Since we will be drawing a firearm from concealment, you will need a belt as a platform for a holster.
- Above Biometrics: Above Biometrics offers fingerprinting services ($65) and application processing ($40) at additional fees, payable to them.
- Right to Bear: Right to Bear will present their program of concealed carry prepaid legal, in case you get involved in a self defense incident.
These two services are optional, and I bring in these experts as a service to you. If you use their services, they will collect payments.
On Day 2, the shooting portion will be conducted one at a time. Firearm rentals and ammunition for the class only can be added on for $15. The rental gun is a Glock 44 or Taurus TX22 in .22 lr.
I realize that was A LOT of information. If you haven't checked out my website (www.firearmmentor.com), please do so. After class is over, I will email you a summary of the laws.
In the meantime, please email me with any firearms or legal related questions. I am always available.
I look forward to seeing you at the class.
Sincerely,
Marcus Melnick
