Prerequisites:NRA Basics of PISTOL Shooting (Basic Course) This course includes Basic Instructor Training (BIT) and the Pistol Instructor Course (Discipline Specific). This is the NRA Instructor PISTOL Shooting Course. It is a TWO-DAY COURSE. You must attend BOTH days to receive a Certificate of Completion. This course certifies Instructor Candidates have achieved the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude for training students in the basics of safe gun handling, maintenance, and shooting based on NRA national standards. Instructor candidates must pass a written exam with 90% or better and a shooting qualification to meet certification requirements. After registering online, you will be contacted regarding payment. The NRA requires a minimum of 4 students to conduct this course.
Expectations and Outcomes
Upon successful completion the candidate will recieve certification to teach NRA Basic Pistol.
