Description
The Entry Level Law Enforcement/Armed Security Course is designed to teach new law enforcement officers or aspiring law enforcement officers with contemporary firearms issues, trends, tactics, and training techniques.
Topics that become current and timely are implemnted into the training. The training objectives are achieved through classroom discussions and practical hands-on exercises.
Students will learn the basics of firearms and firearms safety as it pertains to law enforcement. All students are required to safely complete several dynamic "dry fire" drills, "live fire" drills, and final qualification which is extremely beneficial for newer law enforcement officers or aspiring law enforcement officers.

Expectations and Outcomes
The Entry Level Law Enforcement/Armed Security Course is designed to teach new law enforcement officers, aspiring law enforcement officers, and new armed security officers with contemporary firearms issues, trends, tactics, and training techniques. This training is additional to any agency training that your organization may provide to you. This training strives to make the student feel more comfortable with a firearms prior to attending a police academy or armed security school. The reason we developed this curriculum is to make new firearm users/handlers more comfortable prior to embarking on an intense police academy. This training will reduce stress while you are in the police academy and familiarize yourself with firearms and firearms safety.

Documentation Requirements
Please bring drivers license, concealed carry license (if obtained but not required), one box of 50 round ammunition, your choice of personal handgun (not required but recomended), eye protection and ear protection will be provided at the range.
Due to the current lack of accesibility to ammunition, the fee for our ammunition and firearm rental has been raised to $40.00.
$40.00 Firearm Rental & Ammunition Fee can be purchased on the day of the class at the venue. If you will need a firearm and ammunition, please add it on at the check out, so the instructor is notified of your needs for the class. Thank you!
Requirements
- You must bring proper range attire.
- Agency issued handgun.
Note: If a student cannot bring their agency issued handgun, Elite Tactical Firearms Training LLC will provide the student a handgun for training.
