Description
The bad guys/gals have the luxury of choosing when and where they will attack, and more often than not, such encounters occur in low light environments. Whether dealing with domestic, building, or outdoor scenarios, this course covers the essentials of light equipment selection, weapon-mounted or hand-held light sources, and techniques for effective search, navigation, target identification, and engagement of potential threats.
This is a Force on Force class utilizing UTM converted firearms and man marker cartridges.
While this is not a “Tactics” driven class, there will be a heavy critique of techniques shown to increase confidence, knowledge base, and fine tune processing ability. Even though we are shooting non lethal ammo, there will still be a safety/medical brief.

Expectations and Outcomes
Shooter Students will have a better understanding of navigating a structure from a low light to no light posture. Students will see a increase in proper manipulation of thier firearm in conjunction with working a hand held light. All techniques taught will be validated through force on force exercises.
Students will receive a certificate of completion for thier training records.
