Description
This 1 day class is the foundation to which all your future pistol training will be built upon. Overall Safety, range etiquette, clearing, loading, equipment, fundamentals of fire, draw cycle, clearing common stoppages, common mistakes, and warrior mindset are the main subjects taught in this essential course. Though this training is designed for beginners, the subject matter and techniques learned in this class will allow students to build real life skills.
Topics Covered
This class will teach students the fundamentals of shooting a pistol, which includes:
Stance
Grip
Draw Cycle
Sight Picture/Sight Alignment
Trigger Control
Follow Through
Clearing Common Malfunctions
Range Etiquette
Weapon Maintenance
Students will also learn how to properly handle and maintain their pistol, which includes:
Disassembly
Cleaning and Lubing
Reassembly
Function Check
Expectations and Outcomes
Students will build the foundation they need for good pistol shooting. They will gain the confidence to handle and shoot a pistol correctly and accurately, along with the knowledge to clean and maintain their pistol.
Students will also get their Concealed Carry Certificate with this class, if they don't already have it.

Documentation Requirements
Students will need to bring their Driver's License/State Identification Card
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Students must bring the following:
Semi Automatic Pistol
Kydex type OWB (Outside the Waist Band) holster that covers the trigger guard
2 Magazines minimum (3-5 mags would be optimal)
1 Mag Carrier minimum (2-3 mag carriers would be optimal)
200 rounds of ammunition
Ear Protection (can be purchased at class)
Eye Protection (can be purchased at class)
Closed Toe shoes/boots
Pants or Shorts WITH A BELT
Water and Snacks for the day
Students are required to bring their own lunch
If students do not bring the required gear, they will not be allowed to participate in the class, and will be asked to leave the range. There will be NO REFUND for anyone removed from the range due to safety violations, or not bringing the proper gear listed above.
