Combative Marksmanship 1

Description

Combative Carbine 1 is the follow-on course of the Combative Marksmanship series. It builds upon the skills taught in the Skill Builder course. This is not a basic marksmanship or safety course.

• Weapons handling and safety carbine
• Zeroing
• Offset aiming for defensive use
• Malfunctions and stoppages
• Internal, external and terminal ballistics for Carbine and Battle rifle
• Weapons maintenance
• Range estimation techniques
• Unknown distance
• Traditional and unconventional shooting positions
• Data book use

Expectations and Outcomes

Students should expect a learning environment focused on excellence in the basics. That being said this course builds on the skills previously taught in Combative Marksmanship Skill Builder. We are only going to push you as far as you are capable of. Like the old saying goes, "Rome was not built in a day".

Documentation Requirements

Please bring all documentation with you the day of the course.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

The instructor requires a copy of your Concealed Carry Weapons permit once you register.

Requirements

• Rifle or Battle rifle
• Optic or Irons of choice
• Sling (single point, 2 point, 3point or loop sling are all acceptable)
• Minimum 3 Rifle magazines
• 600 rounds rifle Minimum 
• Elbow, knee pads or shooting matt (optional)
• Carbine or Battle rifle
• Method for carrying at least 2 magazines on your person
• Eye and ear protection
• Gloves (optional)
• Range finder (optional)
