This course offers 5 hours of classroom instruction followed by 3 hours of range time, and 2 hours on your own time, ensuring a balanced blend of theoretical learning and practical application. All Day 1 content will be thoroughly reviewed, and essential materials will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared.

Expectations:
Preparation: Bring all required materials, including your firearm, holster, magazines, ammunition, water, notebook, pens/pencils, and appropriate attire.
Participation: Engage actively in both classroom and range sessions. Participate in discussions, ask questions, and practice skills.
Compliance: Adhere to all safety rules and guidelines, especially regarding the handling and storage of firearms and ammunition.
Assessments: Complete the mandatory pre-class and post-class assessments to gauge and evaluate your knowledge and understanding of the material.

All fees will be collected electronically upon application submission to the Licensing Portal. Accepted forms of payment include Visa and MasterCard.

Note:
If you currently conceal and carry a firearm, it must be stored correctly in a case separate from ammunition immediately upon arrival. Firearms are allowed in class, but any ammunition is prohibited until qualification time. Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal from the course.
When Should I Renew?
The initial Handgun Permit expires on the last day of the holder's birth month, two (2) years after the permit's issue date. Modified or duplicate permits expire on the date of the initial permit.
Renewal permits are valid for successive periods of three (3) years each, provided the applicant meets the qualifications and pays the renewal fee.
Renewal is the permit holder's responsibility and should be initiated at least 90 business days before expiration. The Licensing Portal sends renewal reminders only for online submissions. Notify the Licensing Division of address changes within 30 days in writing.

Mandatory Assessments:
To receive credit for the course, two assessments are required:
- Pre-Class Assessment: Conducted before classes begin to gauge your current knowledge.
- Post-Class Assessment: Taken after the class to evaluate your understanding of the material.
Both assessments must be completed to earn credit for the class but are not required to start filling out your permit.
Cancellation / Refund Policy:
Refunds are only issued if we cancel a class. If a patron cannot attend the scheduled class, they will receive full credit for another class of comparable value. No-shows without prior notice will not receive credit.hows without prior notice will not be given any such credit.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
The instructor requires a copy of your Concealed Carry Weapons permit once you register.
Requirements
What to Bring:
- Reliable semi-automatic pistol in a standard caliber (22LR, 380 ACP, 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP)
- Minimum of 2 magazines
- 200 rounds of factory new, non-hollow point ammunition (FMJ/TMJ/coated ammunition is fine). No remanufactured or reloaded ammunition.
- Sturdy belt
- Safe, durable holster (discussion point)
- Lunch (45-minute break on both days)
- Water
- Notebook and pens/pencils
- Appropriate attire for farm range conditions
- Sunscreen
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
